Our Founder
Abdul Kadir, BalancedReturns founder and principal, holds an MBA with an accounting concentration from Thomas College and a B.S. in accounting and finance from the University of Southern Maine. He is currently engaged in the process of earning the CPA designation.
Abdul Kadir has several years’ experience including roles as a Senior Tax Accountant with a public accounting firm, CEO and founder of a successful health related business, and as a self-employed tax preparer. He specializes in developing an in-depth understanding of client needs and providing the financial services they need to thrive.
Abdul Kadir lives in Portland with his wife, Amina, sons: Ali and Mohamed, and daughters: Zamzam and Zuhayla. In his free time, he like to play soccer and run on Baxter Boulevard in Portland.
